Debrecen 2023!

On 23rd February (stylishly 20.23) it was officially announced that Debrecen will submit a bid to be a Cultural Capital of Europe in 2023. As part of the announcement there was an official launch ceremony in the MODEM, where the representatives of different political parties signed a commitment to support the application of Debrecen. Besides the cultural exhibitions and concerts one could leave a message or a wish for the future in a “time capsule” and visit all the exhibitions of the cultural center. The Művésztér and the volunteers of the Hang-Kép Egyesület #hangkep team were also present at the event and promoted the outdoor bookshelf as part of the local initiative Utcai könyvszekrényt Debrecenbe!.
