Sound-Picture Cultural Association

Our association is offering all sorts of local and international activities for internationals and residents of Hungary. The food and accommodation are covered from EU funds, the travel costs are reimbursed till a top up limit (depends on the distance). The condition for travel reimbursement: sending us all tickets and boarding passes, signing the presence list, active participation during the whole activity, min. 1 share on a personal social media platform about the project. Buy tickets only after receiving a written confirmation of your participation, otherwise we cannot reimburse them. See: FAQ

We organised an Erasmus+ supported Training Course in Debrecen, Hungary. Between 28^th September and 7^th October 2025. The participating youth workers explored the techniques of Image, Forum and Newspaper Theatre and learnt how to use them in order to bring social change in their communities. During the 10 days of the training, 30 youth workers, supported by 2 trainers and 7 partner organisations got empowered to use these methods.

When a new year starts, a new volunteer comes, and old friend joined our team as a volunteers for 12 months in Hortobagy. The youngsters – especially if they are coming form a southern country – really enjoy sliding on ice. The media team focused on the lights of Debrecen and were mesmerized by the frozen winter. 

We started the year with meetings at the association building. Despite the cold January weather, our volunteers took great care of the animals in Hortobagy at the Bird Hospital and at the Animal Park.Our media group focused on the topic of “friendship” and created albums while introducing Debrecen.
