At the beginning of the year we organised another cross-border communication training within the CBP project (Communication without Borders Plus). Together with our partner from Oradea our crew visited more and more villages and towns for filming in Hungary and Romania. We even shot “making of” videos just to record the good atmosphere of the trips.

Within the EVS program new volunteers were joining our work. We worked as a partner with the Debrecen Youth Center, we ran an online video and animation training to the develop the digital competences of high school students. We used on non-formal methods while working with the youngsters. They prepared their practice videos and to get a countryside inspiration, we even visited a farm in Hajdúbagos (a nearby town).

The filming and animation preparation trainings and the work with the youth were influenced pretty much by the Debrecen city center videos and the videos introducing the Rockschool that is working in the Debrecen Youth Center.

During the spring months we continued the Communication without Borders 3.0 project with a training in Oradea. At the request of HAHA Association we did a communication training for student-government leaders in May. We continued recording the TV series about beautiful natural and urban sights, traditions and local cuisine in Hajdú-Bihar and Bihor counties (HU-RO).

Our communication camp in summer raised attention on the dangers of online gambling addictions. We participated in the European Youth Week program in Debrecen. The American Corner Debrecen asked us to hold an English communication training at a leadership camp for girls.

Every year the Rockschool of Debrecen is open for newcomers during the September orientation, we decided to help their work with promotion videos.

At the request of ATOMKI (Atomic Research Institution of Hungary) we started a 4 semester public speech training. During these trainings young scientists could practice the methods of public speech and how to present their research results to different target groups. As part of the cooperation we even recorded the scientists’ presentations in different high schools where they promoted Physics to them in a playful way.
